GARMENT FIT/CAREHow do I care for my garment? In order to extend the life of your garment, we recommend taking care in cleaning. The beaded gowns require only occasional cleaning as they are usually worn with a slip dress. It is best to hand wash them in cold water with a little soap and allow to drip dry. They may be dry-cleaned, although it is discouraged. Dry-cleaning chemicals can cause damage to the beading. The silk dresses are dry-clean only. The cotton dresses can be machine washed on gentle/cold and hung to drip-dry.
How should the garment fit? One of the questions we are asked most often is how the dresses are supposed to fit. Are they supposed to be loose? Are any of them more fitted than the others? The answer is that they can be worn however you like!
Many of our customers order a size smaller in order to get a more fitted look. Most of our sizing is based on a looser, 1920’s silhouette, but the mesh material allows them to be worn with a tighter fit if so desired. The cotton dresses run more true to size. Most of our dress descriptions include a bust-waist-hip measurement. You can also refer to our size chart.

How do I place an order? Just click on the “Add to Bag” icon on the product page. Our website will guide you step-by-step to the completion of the order. If you are having difficulties, please contact us. We’ll be happy to process your order via email or phone.
I’m outside the US. How can I determine the price in my currency? We do a great bit of international business, so we’ve included a currency converter on each item page under “Shoppers Tools”.
Is your shopping cart safe? Yes. We want nothing less than worry-free shopping for our customers. We process our orders through VeriSign and Wells Fargo. We also have a SSL security certificate through Godaddy.com.
How soon will I receive my order? We normally ship via USPS Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days. If it’s a rush order, we can also ship via Express Mail or Fed-Ex. If you have any delivery concerns, please contact us directly. We will find the best shipping alternative to fit your needs.
What is your return policy? We are happy to accept returns for exchange/store credit if items have not been worn and have been returned in new condition. We request that all items be returned within 10 days of receipt.
Unfortunately, we can not offer refunds, as the nature of our product lends itself to special event use . As an alternative, there are many costume rental sites that feature our dresses if you are looking to wear the dress only once. As size/fit can sometimes be an issue, please feel free to call or email us for sizing advice. We can help figure out what best fits your needs and your measurements!
